Awareness in the Age of Social Media

As a senior student of ICT who has been exposed to every social platform, it is imperative—for us to be knowledgeable in a world of technological progression online, who and what to believe in. Furthermore, with the help of cybercrime security through social media, there’s a variety of malware and hackers that can affect our privacy. However, do we feel so safe and secure on social media platforms? Moreover, with the knowledge of technology, we can use it to block and secure those negative intentions toward us, with the help of security measures such as cybercrime and cybercrime law. These will secure us safely.

In addition, in a world of online world, we don’t know what kind of netizens possess what intentions on social media. Moreover, with netiquette behavioral, we can properly interact online with someone new to us. In this way, we can share a positive way with others—others will do the same. Nictitating is a fatal condition in every aspect of the media platform, because I do believe non-verbal cues can impact someone’s health, emotion, and physical well-being.

In conclusion, netiquette must start from us—we should be responsible for using the social media platforms we use.
